High
blood pressure
High blood pressure or hypertension can cause diseases
without any early warning symptoms. It can cause arterial
disease that can lead to heart attack, congestive heart
failure, and stroke and kidney failure.
Normal blood pressure of an adult,
systolic <130 and diastolic <85 (around 120/80)
should be checked at least every 6 months.
The major option to prevent high blood pressure is mainly
on lifestyle modifications. Eat a nutritious, low-fat
diet and include more fruits and vegetables.

Home remedies to prevent High blood pressure
or hypertension
Lemon and Grapes are regarded
as a valuable food to control high blood pressure. It
is a rich source of vitamin P (Bioflavinoids) which
improves capillary strength and prevent capillary fragility.
Parsley (Petroselinum crispum)
juice is an excellent tonic for the blood vessels,
particularly the capillaries and arterioles. Mix ½
ounce Parsley with boiled and meshed potato and use
along with other dishes.

Garlic
is regarded as an effective means of lowering blood
pressure. Eat 3-4 raw cloves or two to three capsules
a day.
Holy Basil (Tulsi) Ocimum Sanctum
is useful herb in cardiac disease and the weakness
resulting from them. It reduces the level of blood
cholesterol. 1/2 ounce juice of basil leaves 3 or
4 days a week will control the level of blood cholesterol.
Drink a tablespoon each of fresh Indian gooseberry
(Emblica officinalis, Emblic myrobalan, Amla, Amalaki.)
juice and honey mixed together should be taken every
morning.
The seeds of Watermelon dried and roasted, should
be taken in liberal quantities which will dilate the
blood vessels and lower the blood pressure.
Rauwolfia is the best remedy to prevent
and cure for high blood pressure. Half a teaspoon
of dried and powdered root of Rauwolfia should be
taken in early morning every day is effective to control
the hypertension.
Raw carrot juice 300 ml and 200 ml of spinach juice
mixed together make 500 ml and drink 250ml twice daily,
morning and evening.
