Beauty is the combination of many features like body shape, colour, softness, expression, intelligence, style and so on, in right proportion. The need to good look has always been priority for the mankind.
1. Discourage facial hair growth
The apricot and honey peel off pack is found very useful in the treatment of facial hair. Constant use over a period of time weakens the roots of facial hair and discourage facial hear growth.

A safe way to remove hair permanently is by destroying the hair root with an electric current. This method is called electrolysis that destroys the hair root at the bottom of the follicle and loosens the hair, which is then removed from the follicle with tweezers.
2. Nature’s best body moisturizer

If have few minute to spare, you can make your own and use a wonderful whole body pack.

4 tb sp - butter
½ cup - groundnut oil
2 no's. - eggs
½ cup - curd
1 tsp - vinegar
3 tb sp - rose water
2 tsp - glycerin
1 ½ cups - apple juice
½ cup- eau-de- cologne


Warm the butter to melt and mix in the groundnut oil. Allow the mixture to cool. Add the beaten egg and mix with a beater while adding all other ingredients as depicted. Apply gently and relax for half an hour. This fantastic is ideal for pampering for your whole body. It moistures and softens you and your body !!!

3. Avoid wrinkles

Wrinkles are unavoidable. It happens to everyone today or tomorrow. How fast is depends on your skin type, genetics and life style. But you can delay it. Protect your skin from sun is the first step. Use an umbrella or wear hat or scarf and use sunglass to protect yourself from the sun. You can reduce ageing with sun-screen, a good moisturizer, age defying creams or skin peels which will be selected depending on the climate, your skin type, duration staying outdoors. There are plenty of products available now in the market. You can even buy any products through Internet. Before using any beauty products, ensure that you are not allergic to it and buy only from reputed manufacturers. Before the application of any new products on your face, test it on a sensitive area such as under the arm.


The use of olive oil is reported good results, at the initial stage. Massage the oil into skin as indicated below:

Warm 1/4 cup olive oil in microwave. Make sure it’s comfortable to the touch and gently massage into skin. Wipe off with a cotton towel.
Take a vitamin C tablet (the strongest you can find) and dissolve it in 1/2 teaspoon boiling water. Vitamin C is the only topical antioxidant that has been proven to prevent oxidation of tissue. Let the water cool until comfortable to the touch. Add it to a small amount of eye cream, and gently apply it under the eye and around the mouth. Never use a facial moisturizer on the eye area if you have sensitive skin.

These oils can be used safely: -

  • Almond Oil: Excellent for all skin types to soften and smooth.
  • Aloe Vera Toner: Apply aloe vera gel as a gentle toner. Never use any toner containing alcohol – it neutralize the skin natural oils.
  • Apricot Kernel Oil: Good for delicate and mature skins. Extremely rich in vitamin A.
  • Avocado Oil: Good for treating dry or sunburned skin problems because of its high content of vitamins A and E.
  • Flaxseed Oil: High in vitamin E, and useful in promoting cell regeneration.
  • Olive Oil: Great for body and hair. Maximize the benefits by slightly warming in the microwave.
  • Wheat Germ Oil: Excellent for sensitive skin because it can be used as both a face and eye gel. Never use a facial moisturizer on the eye area if you’re prone to sensitive skin.
4. Blemishes on the face

It may occur due to many reasons. Sometimes due to illness or some form of allergy some dark patches on the face. Some gentle application will help to get rid of them.

Rub in some pure coconut oil before going to bed. And wash well in the morning. Repeat for 15 days.

Watermelon juice applied and gently massaged on the blemished area. Left on for 15 minutes will definitely help.

Tender coconut water dabbed on blemishes and left for an hour. Repeat for 15 days.

Carrot juice also found effective. Applied for 20 minutes for 15 days.

5. Nail polish

To make your nail polish last longer, dip fingernails in a bowl with 1/2 cup of water and 2 teaspoons of vinegar. Dry and then apply polish.

To repair nail polish chips, take a cotton swab dipped in nail polish remover and swab the edges of the chipped area until smooth. Reapply polish.

A few thin coats of nail polish will give you better coverage, dries faster and lasts longer.
