"Many,
many people confuse sex with true love. Sex attracts,
but physical attraction alone cannot bind two people
happily together for very long. Sex is very intimate
at the physical level, but there may not be much personal
or emotional depth involved."
----Harold Bessell
The most dangerous threat now facing by teens, young
women allover the world is the sexual assaults and rapes
and it is the fastest rising violent crime. Rape affects
all ages, races, social classes, as well as both males
and females.
However the Statistics shows that the most vulnerable
group at risk are young, unmarried women between the
ages of 16 and 19 who come from a low-income home. The
second most vulnerable group was in the 20 to 24 age
group; and the third most vulnerable group was 12 to
15 years of age.
Anyone can be a victim, so you need to be aware of what
is going on around you. Statistics show that 1 out of
4 women will be victims of rape by the time they graduate
from college. Also most rapes are committed by an acquaintance,
neighbor, relative or best friend and in familiar, social
situations. |

rape prevention strategy is foolproof. If we increase
our awareness of this problem and take preventive measures,
we can decrease the chances of being a victim.
Rape can take place at any location and at any time.
It may be at your own home, in parties, in parks, beaches,
shopping centers and car or at car parking places and
so on.
Remember, prevention is better than cure!
